Good evening Dr. Franks and fellow classmates,
My name is Beatrice Floyd, I’ve truly enjoyed my journey at Bellevue University in the MSM Program. I’ve had some ups and downs, sickness, family deaths, loss of job and even loss of my home due to the layoff. However, I decided I’d let nothing stop me from accomplishing my ultimate goal in completing the program successfully.
In the midst of the program I suffered some major setbacks such as having to drop classes and a Stroke; but praise God I’m still here and now in the final class of the program. I decided to take the MSM in efforts of seeking better employment with the company I’m currently employed and even teach. I can truly say once an individual makes up their mind to pursue certain goals in life, to allow nothing to cause them to quit. I cried many tears and spent many hours of frustration because of unexpected road blocks, but refused to give up. Dr. Franks, I truly appreciate all the encouraging words you’ve instilled within me throughout the program, especially when I felt I just couldn’t do it; and here I am at the finish line waiting to cross. Thanks from the bottom of my heart!
